Lo que parecia una victoria mas para los UTSA Roadrunners en frente de mas de26 mil aficionados se convirtió en uno de los juegos mas dificiles y el mayor regreso en la historia del programa para contrarestar una diferencia de 24-0 a la mitad del 2o cto. 14 de esos puntos fueron anotados en el 1er cto, con 5:15 restando en el 2o cto los Correcaminos iniciaron lo que seria a la postre el mayor regreso en su joven historia con un pase de 65 yardas de Harris a Cephus, minutos después Dadrian Taylor de UTSA tuvo una intercepción de 73 ydas para convertirla en Touch Down, de esta manera el 2o cto terminó con un marcador de 24-14.
