It was such an amazing time spent in the concert of this Border guys, I have followed their path on the musical scene for the last 2 years or so, I discovered them almost by accident surfing on Youtube, this is one of my current outlets to discover music with attitude and quality from Mexico (Frankly nowadays a bunch of great music is being created there, forget about the useless stereotypes of sombrero and mariachi music and open your ears to contemporary sounds).

I was not surprised at all about their quality, which is their main ingredient  in their creation, but i was MASSIVELY SURPRISED about the feelings and the vintage sounds created on me by them, these transported me immediately to my childhood days in Mexico City, i saw myself in retrospective attending gatherings of my parents with their friends playing the trendy music in the 70s, magically i saw in my brains my parents having a good time, my uncles, cousins, friends and unique innocent childhood passages.

For a mid age guy like me not getting surprised very often, is intriguing how these kids incline themselves on the creation of this almost lost sound, which indicates me that there is a clear work of enchantment and research of them beyond a gathering to create music looking for the reflectors or the low impact transcendence, it is true; times have changed (I loved the 90s but certainly i am aware that i will never go back there and musically it is better to walk forward, i will never go to a Re-union or get together old band concerts, simply because I preffer to keep my memories intact and well saved than a nowadays non sense concert offering a lack of evolution of my fav musicians from those days), but always is great to evolve listening to new creations with some times pop sound with dense and deep rock lyrics by the voice of a terrestrial mermaid and the music of winged wizards willing to take You into an almost secret and certainly enjoyable sonic paradise.
